Nokia today launched two mobile phones based on Windows 8 operating system.One of these price is Rs 10,500. Lumia 520 is Nokia’s most affordable Windows Best smartphone. This phone will come to market in about a week. Now most of the smartphones running with Android are running on smartphones market.
IDC report stated that Android and iPhone shareholdings is nearly 91 per cent in the combined global smartphone market. Nokia’s smartphone segment share is less than 10 per cent.
In order to increase its market share, Nokia announced the launch of the new Lumia smartphones. Lumia 520 and Lumia 720. Both these Nokia phones was introduced at Barcelona Mobile World Congress (MWC). Nokia’s director (Smart Devices) Vipul Mehrotra says, ” We have confidence to launch Lumia 920, Lumia 520 and Lumia 720′s success. In the last 15 months we have launched 10 devices. “
When we asked them What is the secret of success behind Android smartphones to keep priced below Rs 10,000 in India? He said, “We are aware of this fact that Android phones meets at all price points, but individually experience counts which bring the same price point. In a year we have launched Lumia range. And we have hopes for Lumia low end and high end device. “
Lumia 520 price is around Rs 10,500. It is based on Windows 8 and is most affordable device in the marke. This smartphone is the cheapest of the global brand. The 4-inch touchscreen, dual-core processor with 1 GHZ, 8 GB storage memory, 5 MP camera and a removable battery.
Lumia 720 is slightly better. This smartphones has launcehd with 4.3-inch large screen and 6.7 MP camera with Carl Jais lens, Unibody design. Its price is Rs 20,000. Both the smartphones comes with call super-sensitive touchscreen. It can be used very easily by large nails nad Gloves. Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 will meet in April by the end of this month. Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 comes with Worldwide Maps and navigation and free, unlimited music streaming. It will feature the Nokia music. The library has more than 80 million songs.
Lumia 520 features: one GHz dual-core snapdragon processor in the mobile. It is believed that the phones will give tough competition to Nokia’s low cost Android phone. The 5 megapixel camera. 8 GB MicroSD memory card which can be expanded up to 64 GB. Super sensitive touch screen of 4 inches.
Lumia features: It work with a 4 GHz dual-core snapdragon processor. The 8 GB memory and it can be extended to 64 GB with micro SD card. Also Sky Drive 7 GB storage. With 1.3 MP front camera which features some of his photographs are kept for amateurs. Its 4.3-inch super-sensitive screen can be work with gloves or nails but also gives better response.This phone is available in 5 colors including red, yellow, white and black.
